Sports Update: Sweedman 2nd at Rocky Mnt.

Libby High School’s Kyle Sweedman lost a 5-2 decision to rival Brock Picard of Polson in the 171-pound finals at the Rocky Mountain Classic on Saturday in Missoula.

Sweedman’s runner-up finish was one of five placings for the Greenchain in the tournament. Kyle Leir placed fifth at 135, Kody Berget was sixth at 189, Mike Roby placed seventh at 125 and Cody Elliott ended up eighth at 140.

As a team, Libby placed 15th out of 29 schools.
