The Libby High School girls basketball team couldn’t put a blemish on Polson’s Northwestern A record on Saturday in a 49-38 loss.

The Lady Pirates led by eight at halftime and refused to falter down the stretch to go to 3-0 in the conference, 7-2 overall.

Jaime Gilden scored 14 points for LHS. The Pirate defense held Libby’s leading scorer, Jackie Mee, to six points.
