The Libby High School boys basketball team jumped out to a 15-2 lead in the first quarter and then held on for life to defeat Troy, 35-29.

The Loggers could do little wrong over the opening eight minutes but then had trouble buying a shot the rest of the way. The Trojans, meanwhile, cut their deficit to 26-22 by the end of the third quarter.

Libby regained its composure late and finished strong to post the victory.

Kelly May scored 15 points and Alex Cislo had seven boards to lead LHS.

Ryan Rayson finished with a team-high eight points and six rebounds for the Trojans.
