Sports update: Libby girls down Troy, 55-6

The Libby High School girls basketball team scored 55 straight points in a 55-6 win over Troy on Thursday night.

The Lady Trojans scored the first two points and the final four points of the game but Libby had a 55-0 run in between. Libby's Jackie Mee scored 27 points and grabbed eight rebounds. Teammate Jaime Gilden finished with 10 points, four rebounds and four assists. LaRona Luscher also had four assists.

For Troy, Alyssa Olds, Kimmy Klin and Nastassja Hines each had two points.
