Letter: Volunteer firefighters thanked for response

Dear Editor:

Well, our Libby Volunteer Fire Department has gone and done it again – and yes, I’m naming names.

Ryan Andreessen, Brad Auge, Scott Beagle, Paul Brown, Brady Fiscus, Mike Gehrke, Keith Howard, Steve Lauer, Chris Noble, Eric Peterson, Hugh Taylor, Bill Watt, Nick Whiteman, Gary Wood, Joe Wood, Tom Wood, Gary Zajanc and Brian Zimmerman.

I want to thank each one of you for getting to my house on Jan. 1 to take care of my chimney fire. Thank you for letting my mom and I stay in your command van for about 1-1/2 hours to keep us warm. You even supplied drinks for us (water and Powerade).

Thank you, Bill Watt, for coming in about every 10 to 14 minutes to let us know what the crew was doing.

And for all the moms, dads, wives and children of these people – you should be very proud of the hard work these volunteer people do for Libby.
