Sports Update: Columbia Falls defeats Libby boys, 56-25
The Libby High School boys basketball team opened play in the Northwestern A on Thursday night with a 56-25 loss to Columbia Falls.
The Wildcats steadily pulled away with leads of 11-6 after the first and 26-12 at halftime. The Loggers could never get its offense going and finished with a 20.5-percent shooting percentage.
Alex Cislo saw limited action with foul trouble but finished as Libby’s top scorer with seven points. Colton Cannon finished with five points, which included a 3-pointer. Nate Broden had a team-high seven rebounds.
Libby (0-1, 2-4) plays host to Ronan on Saturday.
