Letter: Resident appreciates Insulation crew's work

| January 5, 2010 11:00 PM

Dear Editor:

Recently, I have been blessed with the Montana Department of Human Resources, LIEAP, Community Action Partnership and its Weatherization Department.

Headed by Mr. Dan Alderette, the Libby-based Insulation application crew includes Brian, Mike and Greg and they are a group of knowledgeable, professionals.

Mr. Alderette conducted the initial audit. His understanding and willingness to work with the resident is superior, even as he operates under the stress of having to be in five locations, in three counties, presumably within the same day!

Brian, Mike and Greg worked wholeheartedly with respect to my 1920s, completely un-insulated home. They hustled non-stop during our cold snap and continually involved me in possible actions that a homeowner would be concerned about.

The crew was happy, clean and team players. Upon completion of the job, I was walked through the procedures they had taken. Then, to quell my curiosity of hidden locations, I was shown images of these locations that were taken with their camera.

Kudos to them!

In the Kalispell office, Carla and Gale are the gears that set the engine in motion. What must be endless stacks of papers, overloaded computer screens and smoking printers, they tackle the screening of applications and ultimately scheduling.

Thanking all of the staff at Human Resources and CAP.

Dare I ask that our EPA teams follow the footsteps of the installation and management of CAP?
