Letter: 'Dr. Joe' gets big kudos from resident

| January 5, 2010 11:00 PM

Dear Editor:

Having two small children, I have spent my fair share of time at doctor’s appointments and hospitals in the last four years.

Most of the doctors and physician assistants I’ve come in contact with have been professional and courteous but only one has stood out. That would be Joe Chopyak, who is lovingly referred to as “Dr. Joe” by my boys.

Mr. Chopyak and his certified medical assistant have always provided the thoughtful, caring, courteous bedside manner that you just can’t find anymore. Maybe I expect too much, but I want a caregiver who will listen to my concerns, answer my questions and remember my name or at least my face.

Joe and his staff could teach many health-care professionals a thing or two about how to treat patients. Kudos to “Dr. Joe,” Lacey and all the staff at the Northwest Community Health Center.

Keep up the great work!

Jessica Conrad
