New Troy police chief, New Year's baby, air advisory

In one of his first actions as Troy mayor, Don Banning on Monday promoted officer Bob McLeod to chief of police. He is scheduled to be sowrn in tonight. Also, Libby’s “New Year’s baby” made its way into the world on Jan. 2, St. John’s Lutheran Hospital announced. And a Stage 2 air advisory is in effect for the Libby area.
