Randy Ray Griffey

Randy Ray Griffey, 55, died Feb. 26, 2010 in Ronan.

He was born Sept. 29, 1954 in Libby to Francis Lloyd Griffey and Dorothy Mae Griffey.

Mr. Griffey enjoyed the outdoors – fishing, camping and hunting – visiting family and friends and the time he spent with his son, Corey.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Jeanie Troyer; and a niece, Kelly Griffey.

Survivors include a son, Corey Griffey; daughter, Jennifer Fortner and husband Kevin; a sister, Dixie Cummings and husband John of Libby; a brother, Darrel Griffey of Salt Lake City, Utah; a brother-in-law, Ira Troyer of Libby; two granddaughters, Leera Mae Woody and Bergen Raye Fortner; a grandson, Ledger Joseph Reynolds Fortner; and nine nieces and nephews.

No funeral services are planned. The family will be planning a wake in the early summer to be announced at a later date.
