Alfred Dean Schrecengost

Alfred Dean Schrecengost, 86, longtime Libby and Troy resident, died Feb. 9, 2010.

He was born Sept. 21, 1923. He and his wife, Ethel, lived in the Libby-Troy area for more than 40 years before moving to Humboldt, Tenn., in 2005.

He is survived by his wife and their four daughters.

Mr. Schrecengost struggled with a number of health issues in recent years. It was his wish to be cremated and returned to Troy.

A memorial service will be announced this spring.
