Bonita F. Slaughter

Bonita F. Slaughter, 79, passed away Friday, April 2, 2010 at the Libby Care Center.

She was born July 4, 1930 to Thomas and Shirley Frawley in Lakeview, Ore. She was raised and educated in Gridley, Calif. She resided in Milforde, Calif., with her husband, Richard, and two sons, Richard III and Robert.

During their retirement years, they resided in Modesto, Calif., and Oakdale, Calif., before moving to Libby in 2005. She loved gardening and spending time with family and friends.

The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at the Libby Care Center and St. John’s Lutheran Hospital and Rick Hunting.

Survivors include sons, Richard L. Slaughter III and wife Debbie of Libby; and Robert Slaughter and wife Renee of Port Orchard, Wash.; and grandson, Damon Blythe and wife, Shanna of Utah.

Interment services will be held at a later date in Milford, Calif.

Schnackenberg & Nelson Funeral Home & Crematory of Libby handled arrangements.
