Jack R. Flasche

Jack R. Flasche, 68, of Troy died Monday, March 29, 2010 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident west of Libby.

He was born Oct. 2, 1941 in De Beque, Colo., to Norman and Reba Royal Flasche. He grew up and attended school in Fruita, Colo. He graduated from Fruita High School with the class of 1961. He attended Colorado State College and earned a teaching degree in biology.

He married Lois Castor in 1961. He worked as a drywaller for the biggest share of his life.  Jack and Lois moved to Troy in 1997. He enjoyed golf, fishing, bowling and hunting.

Survivors include his children, Dale Flasche and wife Anne of Libby; Kimla Alvarado and husband Rick of Greeley, Colo.; brothers, Forrest Flasche of Big Piney, Wyo.; Paul Flasche and wife Elaine of Moab, Utah; and Jim Flasche and wife Sharon of Clovis, N.M.; a sister, Joyce Martinez of Brush, Colo.; and two grandchildren, Ross and Dale Lee.

Services will be Wednesday, April 7 at 1 p.m., at the Libby Christian Church, 100 Kootenai River Road, Libby.
