Sports Update: Watson 2nd at Polson Invite

Libby High School senior Zach Watson missed winning his second straight tournament by just one stroke Thursday in Polson. Watson finished runnerup to Whitefish’s Reed Platke with a round of 72 at Polson Bay Golf Course.

For the girls, Taylor Barton returned to action this week and fired a round of 97 to place eighth.

In the team race, Libby seventh out of 10 teams. The girls did not have enough participants to qualify for a a team score.
