Sports Update: Libby boys soccer team wins at Bonners Ferry

The Libby High School boys soccer team improved to 6-1 overall with a 1-0 victory on Thursday over nonconference foe Bonners Ferry, Idaho.

Edson Vences scored the lone goal when he got into the path of a ball kicked by Bonners Ferry keeper Matt Evans. The ball hit Vences in the chest and bounced into the net for a goal. The play occurred in the game’s 61st minute.

Lewis Brossman recorded the shutout in goal for Libby.
