A Bull Lake Road accident, about a mile inside Sanders County, on Tuesday resulted in two people being transported to the hospital.

A Missoula man was airlifted to Seattle for a possible broken neck, according to Montana Highway Patrol, and a Sanders County woman was treated and released at St. John’s Lutheran Hospital.

The Missoula man was a passenger in a vehicle that stopped on the road to look at a moose, along with two vehicles that were parked on the shoulder, said Sgt. Duane Bowers of the highway patrol.

The Sanders County woman rear-ended the vehicle as she was traveling northbound. The driver of the Missoula vehicle was treated on scene for minor injuries by Troy Volunteer Ambulance. The other two were transported to St. John’s Lutheran Hospital. About three hours later, the man was airlifted from Libby to Seattle.
