The Troy High School football team improved to 2-0 on the young season with a 46-0 shutout at Mission.

The Trojans erupted for 20 points in the first half and led 33-0 by intermission. For the second straight week, the game ended up with a running clock based on the Class B mercy rule. That went into effect after Troy went up by 35-plus points in the third quarter.

Jake Alexander, Caleb Kelso and Kody Hoffman each scored two TDs. Brian Hammrich also found the end zone on the longest TD of the night – a 41-yard pass from Mike Ormiston.
