Sports Update: Libby spikers win 7 of 10 games on day 1

The Libby High School volleyball team compiled a 7-3 record in pool play during the first day of the Anaconda Tip-Off Tournament on Friday.

Playing against Southwestern A teams, the Lady Loggers defeated Dillon, 25-13, 25-23; defeated Stevensville, 25-22, 25-14; split with Frenchtown, 25-15, 24-25; defeated Hamilton, 25-16, 25-17; and lost to Anaconda, 25-20, 25-20.

The tournament concludes Saturday with pool play and medal round matches.
