William Patrick

William Patrick, 72, of Troy died Thursday, Aug. 27, 2009 at the Libby Care Center from natural causes.

He was born Oct. 28, 1936 in Newark, N.J. to Cecil and Julia Slavenski Patrick. He grew up and attended school in Newark. He owned and operated a limo in New York City all his working life.

He moved to Troy in 2001. He enjoyed collecting guns, woodworking, old movies, old music and history. 

Survivors include his nephews, Bruce Swimley and wife Arlene of Billings; Robin Swimley and wife Carol of Libby; Bob Swimley and wife Kathy of Spring Creek, Nev.; Keith Swimley of Troy; Brian Swimley of Troy; niece, Linda Lundin of Troy; and great nephews and nieces, Joshua, Elizabeth, Daniel, Nicole, Andrea, Melissa, Kevin, Michael, Tyson, Vincent, William, Spencer and Adam.

Private family services will be held.

Schnackenberg & Nelson Funeral Home in Libby handled arrangements.
