Libby High School officials announced Thursday that Logger Stadium's turf is in good shape for this week's girls soccer Class A state championship game vs. Billings Central.

"It is in much better shape than our first-round games against Livingston and Hamilton and we currently have it tarped to keep any new rain or snow off of it," the school's Jim Germany said Thursday. "No matter where we play it is going to be wet … so come prepared."

Last week's semifinal game against Hamilton was played at Roosevelt Park in Troy and it appeared probable that this week's championship game would also be played in Troy. But the field in Libby responded well to the school's preparation efforts.

The game is scheduled for an 11 a.m. start on Saturday.
