Sports Update: Troy rolls past Thompson Falls

The Troy High School football team ended the season on a high note with a 30-14 victory over Thompson Falls.

Jake Alexander, a senior playing in his final game, rushed for 122 yards and scored one touchdown. Caleb Kelso added 63 yards and two TDs on runs of 17 and 4 yards. Mike Ormiston completed 12-of-19 passes for 99 yards and one TD. Kody Hoffman caught five balls for 41 yards. On defense, Trent Cratty had two interceptions, Ormiston had one pick and Pat Hickman had a fumble recovery.

Troy led 16-14 at the break and then shutout the Bluehawks over the third and fourth quarters. The Trojans put the game away with a 16-play TD drive that used up nearly half of the fourth quarter.

The Trojans finished 2-3 in the conference, 3-5 overall.
