Obituary: Tracy F. Swartz

Tracy F. Swartz, 61, died Oct. 19, 2009 at St. John’s Lutheran Hospital in Libby.

He was born on Oct. 29, 1947 at Fresno, Calif., the son of Fred E. and Mary (Claire) Swartz. He was the second of eight children.

He was raised and educated in Fresno, graduating from Roosevelt High School in 1965. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served for two years with two tours to Vietnam.

He will be remembered as a great father, brother and friend. He enjoyed planes and flying.

Survivors include his daughter, Megan Swartz, of Libby; Jennifer Swartz of California; four sisters, Milly Swartz of Newport, Wash.; Kathy Swartz of Portland, Ore.; and Diane Swartz and Denise Swartz – both of Fresno, Calif.; and a brother, Paul Swartz of California.

Services will be held in Fresno.

Schnackenberg & Nelson Funeral Home in Libby handled arrangements.
