Skateboards, new city attorney on council agenda

Libby City Council plans to meet on Monday at 7 p.m. for its first regular meeting of the month. The meeting will include public hearings on the Millwork West Subdivision and the fiscal year 2010 budget.

Meeting agenda highlights include the proposed construction of a skateboard park, the hiring of a new city attorney and the official retirement of Libby's city supervisor.

Trent Oelberg of Libby Revitalization will make a presentation to council members about the skateboard park. Heather McDougall will be announced as the new city attorney. And city supervisor Dan Thede will be leaving his position.

• Fire suppression with Bob Payne

• Rules and regulations concerning bicycles with Marvin Steele

• Folf with Brad Dodson

• Department of Transportation discussion of Highway 2 South

• Glena Hook with business licenses

• Allen Olsen with discussion of ordinance No. 1708.

• Council action is expected on the second draw for Edstrom Construction concerning the Cabinet Heights Sewer Project and approval to pay claims and payroll.

Meetings are held in council chambers at Libby City Hall.
