Viona Mae Lamey

Viona M. Lamey, 75, a lifetime Libby resident, died Friday, Nov. 13, 2009 at her home in Libby of natural causes.

She was born Feb. 7, 1934 to Fred and Evaline (DeJent) Williams. In 1949, she married Donald Thompson.  She worked in the clerk of courts office from 1963 to 1990, serving as clerk of court for two terms. In 1978, she married William Lamey at the courthouse in Libby.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Don Thompson and wife Jean of Spokane, Wash.; and brother-in-law, Alan Lamey and wife Sherry of Libby.

Private family services will be held.
