Russell C. Smith

Russell C. Smith, 49, died Sunday, Nov. 8, 2009 with family by his side at home in Troy.

He was born Feb. 25, 1960 to Raymond Smith Sr. and Edel Smith.

He loved fishing, hunting, logging, firefighting, drinking beer with friends and all that Troy had to offer.

He is survived by his mother, Edel, and stepfather, Gordon Belmont; daughters, Denikka Miller and Natasha Zerbel; grandchildren, Mara and Bryson Miller; brother, Raymond Smith Jr.; and sisters, Sharon Grigg, Gudrun Wilcott and Soraya Bjorklund.

Also mourning his passing is girlfriend, Linda Haslam.

Private family services are planned.
