LHS Scholarship Awards

Libby High School announced during an academic scholarship assembly on May 4 the recipients of various scholarships and awards.

The Class of 2009’s valedictorian will be Mattie J. Casey and the salutatorian will be Kammi L. McClain. The senior class voted science teacher Gene Reckin as the recipient of the $1,000 Roe Hatlen Teacher Award.

In all, local community organizations donated more than $41,000 in scholarship awards.
