Day, Garrett tie for 1st at Mission

The Troy High School boys tennis team participated in a four-team informal meet on Saturday at Mission. The non-scoring get-together served as a tune-up for this week’s Class B-C State Tournament at Missoula.

The No. 1 doubles team of Jesse Day and Shado Garrett tied for first place with a team from Mission. Day and Garrett won two of three matches.

No other Troy players finished among the top two.
