Ida Lavonne Greggerson Meyer

Ida Lavonne Greggerson Meyer, 71, longtime Troy resident, died May 6, 2009, at Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

She was born at Livingston on Oct. 12, 1937 to Lawrence and Marie Jacob Greggerson. She grew up and attended school in Livingston.

She married Forrest Meyer in 1956 in Livingston. They moved to Troy in 1962. She enjoyed crocheting, roses and country life.

She was preceded in death by a son Ronald Carl Meyer, a brother Albert Greggerson, and two sisters.

Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Forrest Meyer, of Troy; three daughters, Melody Skillings (Jerry), Cherie Meyer (Rich) and Tamara Syth (Brad); two sons, Tom Meyer (Pam) and Forrest J. Meyer (Penny); two sisters, Lillian Carmack and Laverne Fabian (Hank); one brother, Clarence Greggerson (Jenny); 12 grandchildren, Shane, Cameron, and Sophia Skillings; Michael and Brandon Diller; Sheldon, Sheena, Dillion, Chelsea, and Carmen Syth; Ryan , Corey and Jeremy Myer; and numerous great-grandchildren.

In addition, Mrs. Meyer is survived by a very special nephew, Gary Fabian and his wife, Debbie.

The family is holding private services. Schnackenberg & Nelson Funeral Home in Libby handled arrangements.
