Track: Palmer, Wright win events at Top 10 Meet

Aaron Palmer of Troy and Seth Wright of Libby each repeated as champions this year at the Top 10 Meet Tuesday in Missoula.

Palmer won the javelin for the second straight year after recording a throw of 193 feet, 7 inches. Wright won his second high jump title at the meet by clearing 6-4.

Wright also placed third in the triple jump with a 42-1 and fifth in the long jump at 20-4. Palmer placed third in the high jump at 6-2.

Libby’s Joel Fuller and Stephany Kluver also participated. Fuller threw the javelin 162-8 and Kluver had a 111-0 in the same event for the girls.
