Youth battle in golf tourney

Dan Leggins, Jonathan Davidson, Keith Johnson and Holly Leggins claimed first-place finishes within their respective divisions at the Cabinet View Country Club Junior Tournament, held recently in Libby.

Dan Leggins shot a 51 to finish as champion in the Advanced Boys division. Quinn Sullivan finished runner-up with Johnny Ceilak taking third.

In Intermediate Boys, Davidson won with a 57, one stroke better than runner-up Riley Calbeck. Eric Lauer finished third.

Johnson took Beginner Boys with a score of 42 with Trey Thompson second and Tanner Marshall third.

And in Intermediate Girls, Holly Leggins won by two strokes with a 53. Jayden Winslow was second and Sidney Stevenson third.
