Logger Days 5K/10K draws 142 participants
The inaugural Logger Days 5K/10K Run-Walk appeared to be a success, race director Chris Colson announced.
A flurry of day-of-race signups put the total number of participants at 142 – 111 in the 5K and 31 in the 10K. Colson said he is looking forward to more such events, including another Logger Days fun run next year.
In the 10K, Ben Scott was the top overall finisher with a time of 38:07 – and he did that with a sore hamstring. The top female finisher in the 10K was Shala White at 45:40.
Dan Rose had the top male time in the 5K at 19:39. Jessica McGinnis was the top female finisher at 24:16.
