The Libby Rod and Gun Club in planning to hold an Advanced Hunter Education Camp on Saturday, Aug. 15, at Fawn Creek Campground.

The one-day camp is designed for youth who completed the Basic Hunter Education course. Although the camp usually includes 12- to 14-year-olds, older youth who would like a more advanced course are also welcome to attend.

Interest forms were mailed to the most recent hunter ed graduates but the forms are also available at Libby Sports Center or Mac’s Market.

Currently, the camp needs about 15 more participants to reach the needed number to put on the program. Youth who are interested in attending the camp are asked to turn in the interest form as soon as possible so organizers can plan for the event and determine if it needs to be cancelled.
