Kids Fishing Derby slated for Saturday at Troy Community Pond

Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks will sponsor the annual Kids Fishing Derby on Saturday, June 20 at the Troy Community Pond at Roosevelt Park.

The event begins at 8 a.m. and will run until noon. It is open to children of all ages and prizes will be awarded for biggest fish.

Loaner fishing rods and bait will be available. A booth operated by a Troy Boy Scout Troop will be on site to offer refreshments.

No pre-registration for the fishing derby is required and the event is free.
