Lorna L. Coffman & Montie McPherson IV

Lorna L. Coffman, 26, and her son, Montie McPherson IV, 2, died July, 18, 2009 in Libby due to smoke inhalation from a structure fire.

Ms. Coffman was born on June 25, 1983 in Libby to Roger and Cheryl Tipton. Her son was born Nov. 16, 2006 at Havre to Lorna and Montie B. McPherson III.

Ms. Coffman was a single mother who enjoyed time with her son. She also loved the outdoors and the mountains. Montie enjoyed spending time with his mother, grandfather, Roger Coffman and cousins.

Ms. Coffman was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Coffman; and grandparents, Mary Evalyn Coffman and Alen Coffman.

Ms. Coffman is survived by parents, Roger Coffman and Cheryl Tipton; sister, Shawna Tipton; grandparents, John Tipton and Dave and Liz Skranak; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

In addition to those surviving his mother, Montie is also survived by his father, Montie McPherson III; and grandparents, Montie and Vera McPherson.

Private family services will be held.
