The 14th annual Two Rivers Rendezvous runs Friday through Sunday at Fawn Creek Campground near the Fisher River east of Libby.

The gathering features modern-day “mountain men” who wear authentic clothing and use equipment from the pre-1840 time period.

Traders will set up in a primitive camp to offer items ranging from animal hides to knives and tomahawks.

Many competitors and traders from around the country have included the Two Rivers Rendezvous on their summer schedules. The number of shooters has generally numbered well over 100.

Friday’s events include the rifle, pistol, smoothbore, hawk and knife, and primitive archery trails. Saturday’s schedule includes the rifle, pistol, hawk and knife, primitive archery trails and long gong.

Awards will be presented on Sunday.

Activities for kids are also part of the event.

Camping is available and modern-day visitors are welcome along with traders and competitors.

Fawn Creek Campground is located on Fisher River Road (off Highway 37 before Libby Dam). Camp opens on Thursday.
