Letter: Logger marvels at pride found in Libby

Dear Editor:

I wanted to thank the town of Libby for hosting a great event like Logger Days. A lot of volunteers put in a lot of hours to make that happen. Civic pride is lacking around the country, but obviously not in Libby. 

I have been competing in Lumberjack competitions for over 30 years and have traveled around the world. I hope you all realize how lucky you are. Libby is definitely in the middle of “God’s Country.” 

I hope to see you in the future.
