Letter: Woman thanks Libby for reaching out

| January 21, 2009 11:00 PM

Dear Editor:

I thought this would be really easy to write but it has become difficult to put into words.

My children and I moved here 19 years ago. Shortly after our arrival, my husband passed away. Many of you – even though you did not know us – reached out to us and helped us in ways that were totally unbelievable to us. Many of you took time to teach us about God and his ways and we grew and adopted those ways as well.

We will be eternally grateful to the people of Libby for all the love, support and encouragement you have shared with us.

The kids are grown and have moved away and now it is time for me to move on as well and say goodbye to all my adopted family here in Libby. So many of you have had a significant, positive impact on my life and the lives of my children, and thank you seems to be such a little thing to say.

So many of you took us into your homes and treated us just like family and that is going to be the hardest thing to leave behind. We all love each and every one of you very much and want you to know how much we appreciate all you have done.

The first week of March, I will be moving to Florida to live with my daughter and son-in-law.

We wish you well and the best of everything and hope that your future lives will be blessed. Again, thank you so very much. May God bless you.

Vickie Jenner, Libby
