R.G. Miller

R.G. Miller, 85, of Libby died Jan. 13, 2009 at his home in Libby.

He was born March 7, 1923 in Kalispell to Marion and Mary Hume Miller. He grew up and attended school in Libby and graduated with the class of 1941.

He then entered the U.S. Navy and served during World War II. Following his honorable discharge, he began training thoroughbred horses.

Mr. Miller returned to Libby in 2002. He enjoyed horses and fishing.

Survivors include his children, Anita Miller of Oregon; and MariAnn Miller of Oklahoma; brother, Russell Miller of Washington; two sisters, Doris McRoberts of California; and Ruth Morgan of Arkansas.

Private family services will be held. Schnackenberg & Nelson Funeral Home in Libby handled arrangements.
