Marjorie Joan Scott Knight

Marjorie Joan Scott Knight, 87, died Sunday, Jan. 11, 2009 at St. John’s Lutheran Hospital in Libby.

She was born on Aug. 2, 1921 at Cliffs, Ariz., the daughter of Charles Walter and Martha Agnes (Cole) Scott.

She loved hunting, fishing, camping, snowcatting, sewing, cooking and mostly taking care of her family, loving, hugging, and kissing all of them.

She was preceded in death by her grandson Robert Lynn (Knight) Byrd, Jan. 5, 2009; great-granddaughter Brenna Sydney Warboys, her husband, Robert Earl Knight Sr., Jan. 27, 1998; daughters Sharron Jean Knight Kleinssasser and son, Robert Earl Knight, Jr.; and Sharron Jean Knight at birth.

Survivors include her family, daughter, Carolyn Nannett Schull and husband William of Libby; grandchildren, Gary Clifford Heyne of Wyoming; Charles Earnest Heyne and girlfriend Carmia Vincent of Libby; Brian and Connie Schull of Libby; Clinton and Missy Schull of South Dakota; daughter, Rosalie M. and Ben Wurz of Libby, grandchildren, Holly Joan Marie Warboys and great-grandson, Dakota, and Hans Robert Emery Warboys of South Dakota; daughter, Deborah J. Byrd and husband James of Libby; four grandchildren, Nandeelie M. LeCroix, and great-grandchildren, James Connor and Heather Ann LeCroix;  James W. Byrd III and wife Susan of Columbia Falls, four great-grandchildren, Josha Powell of Alaska; Brandon, Blake, Colton and Cameron of Columbia Falls; John Travis Byrd and wife Michelle; great-granddaughter, Cora Nicholle Byrd of Libby; granddaughter-in-law, Laurie Byrd of Kalispell; and great-grandchildren, Jasmine D. Byrd, Kyle Christian Lee, Rylea Marie, Aubrey Lynn, Tayshia Ann, Madison Brie and Gavin Robert Thomas Byrd.

Visitation will be Friday, Jan. 16 from 1-8 p.m. at the Schnackenberg & Nelson Funeral Home. Services will be Saturday, Jan. 17 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. A reception will follow at the Ben and Rosalie Wurz residence, 63 Timberlane, Libby.
