Neesia L. Davidson

Neesia L. Davidson, 65, of Libby died Sunday, Feb. 8, 2009 in Yuma, Ariz.

She was born July 17, 1943 in Morning Star, Ky., to Henry and Dorothy Hall. Her early years were spent in Kentucky where she enjoyed a close and special relationship with her grandmother, Shirley Harrison. She moved with her family to Libby in her youth.  In 1960, she married James Davidson of Libby.

Mrs. Davidson enjoyed working in the firemen’s auxiliary, volunteering in the schools and the Libby Combined Campaign as well as many close friendships.  She owned and operated several businesses.  Most of all she loved being at her cabin with her soul mate Jim, enjoying nature, family and friends. 

Survivors include a son, Stephen, and daughter-in-law, Patti; four granddaughters, Kimberly, Kasandra, Kara and Katelyn; four goddaughters, Terri, Paula, Barbara and Peggy;  sisters-in-law, Kim and Judy; and nephews, John, Jay, Jack, Jake and Justin.

Memorials may be given to the Libby Volunteer Fire Department or St. John’s Lutheran Hospital Foundation. 

Services will be Wednesday, Feb. 25 at 1 p.m. at the Libby Christian Church.

Schnackenberg and Nelson Funeral Home in Libby is handling arrangements.
