Saturday Sports Update

The Libby High School boys basketball team pulled away in the third quarter and then withstood a furious Troy comeback in the fourth for a 42-37 victory on Friday.

In the final 43 seconds of the game, Libby's Alex Cislo and Kelly May had key offensive rebounds on missed free throws and Troy got a double-dribble call and missed a 3-pointer with 11 seconds left as the Loggers held on.

Conner Benson scored 12 points and May added 11 – including a trio of 3-pointers – for the Loggers. Aaron Palmer led Troy with 14 points and 10 rebounds.
