Letter: Christmas food roundup for pantry was success

Dear Editor:

With pleasure and gratitude, we can report that our 19th annual Christmas Food Roundup for the Libby Food Pantry, sponsored by the Lincoln County Republicans, was another great success.

The generous donations of many Libby businesses, professionals and individuals came to $2,060, which enabled us to buy 2,284 pounds of groceries and some holiday treats at our local stores for our pantry’s yearly Christmas baskets.

Thank you, once again, for helping make Christmas 2008 brighter for many. God bless you one and all.
