JoAnn A. Adams

JoAnn A. Adams, 66, of Troy died Monday Feb. 9, 2009 at her home in the Yaak from natural causes.

She was born Aug. 21, 1942 in Bremerton, Wash. She grew up in the Seattle area where she attended school.

On Jan. 18, 1982 in Granite Falls, Wash., she married Roy Adams. They moved to the Yaak in 1993 where they purchased a piece of land and built a home.

Mrs. Adams enjoyed knitting, cooking and reading.

Survivors include her husband, Roy Adams, of Troy; four children, Bambi St Germaine of Granite Falls; Bobbi Copper and husband Rick of Granite Falls; Shelly Googe and husband Eric of Everett, Wash.; Cindy Poppie and husband Todd of Iowa; Ken Adams of Everett; sister, Darlene Migil of Libby; brother, Jerry St. Germaine of Renton, Wash.; and 11 grandchildren. 

Private family services will be held. Schnackenberg & Nelson Funeral Home in Libby handled arrangements.
