Wednesday Sports Update

The Libby High School boys and girls basketball teams swept Bigfork in Northwestern A action on Tuesday.

The Logger boys defeated Bigfork, 46-39, with 16 points from Conner Benson and 12 from Joel Fuller. Libby improves to 6-2 in the conference and is tied in the loss column with Whitefish for first place.

For the girls, Jackie Mee scored 20 points in the Lady Loggers’ 43-37 victory. Jaimie Gilden also hit double figures with 14.

The girls hit the court again on Thursday at home against Troy. The boys will host the Trojans on Friday. Then both teams play on Saturday at Ronan.
