Saturday Sports Update

The Troy High School boys basketball team rallied from 12 down at halftime to post a 48-45 victory on Friday night over St. Ignatius.

Mission entered the game winless in District 7-B but battled the Trojans until the end. Troy finally started to find consistent success in the fourth quarter to avoid the upset.

Aaron Palmer scored 23 points for the Trojans.

In other results from Friday night, the Lady Trojans dropped a 36-23 decision to the St. Ignatius girls in a low-scoring affair. Molly Harpole scored a game-high 14 points for Troy.

Libby’s boys were scheduled to play a makeup game on Friday night at Bigfork but school officials delayed the contest until this coming Tuesday. On that same day on the same floor, the Lady Loggers will also see action vs. Bigfork.
