EPA plans town meeting for Monday
The Environmental Protection Agency invites the community to a town meeting on Monday from 7-9 p.m. at Little Theatre in Libby.
The meeting will feature the Libby Asbestos Site’s annual project update with proposed construction activities for this year, the agency’s long-term site strategies and a question-and-answer session.
Victor Ketellapper, Libby team leader, will be among those on hand to meet with the public.
The Little Theatre is located at 724 Louisiana Ave., in the school administration building.
Seniors With A Purpose to meet on Feb. 19
The Seniors With A Purpose group, also known as SWAP, will meet on Thursday, Feb. 19 at Libby Christian Church.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. For more information on the meeting or group, call 293-9586.
Register Feb. 12 for hunter education course
A free hunter education course will be coming to Libby this month.
Registration will run from 7-9 p.m. at Libby Middle School on Thursday, Feb. 12 at Libble Middle School.
Classes will also be held at the middle school from 7-9 p.m. on Feb. 17-19 and Feb. 23-25 with the field course on Feb. 21. For more information, call Challis Chrismore at 293-4562 or Bill Swagger at 293-5256.
