Edwin Wallace Moreau

Edwin Wallace “Wally” Moreau died Sunday, Dec. 27, 2009 at his home in Libby.

He was born Aug. 9, 1939 at Quincy, Mass., to Ralph and Elizabeth Moreau. He grew up and attended school in Quincy and graduated with the class of 1957 from Hingham High School.

Mr. Moreau served in the U.S. Navy from 1957-60 and in the reserves until 1963.  He worked at W.R. Grace & Co., for 30 years, retiring in 1992.

On Feb. 21, 1993 he married Cristita Armentano in Libby. He enjoyed model airplanes, especially those from World War II.

Family said he will be missed by those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife, Cristita of Libby; eight sons; two daughters; and 11 grandchildren.

Services will be Thursday, Dec. 31 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 719 Utah Ave, in Libby.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Dec. 30 at Schnackenberg & Nelson Funeral Home from 1-7 p.m., with Rosary at 7 p.m.
