Letter: High costs not seen in U.S. life expectancy

| December 15, 2009 11:00 PM

Dear Editor:

U.S. Senator Max Baucus's vote on the Mandatory Health Insurance bill will tell a lot about how he values the U.S. Constitution and the sacrifices made to launch this country into existence.

Our genetically engineered food supply is tainted with  hormones, insecticides and herbicides. Despite out-spending most other nations 2-to-1 on health care, there are 39-plus nations where people live longer than us.

Before Obama turns us into slaves with health care at gun point, might we question why they live longer in other places?
