Girls Basketball: Troy falls twice in home tourney

The Troy High School girls basketball team opened the season Friday and Saturday with losses to Valley Christian and Stillwater Christian in a preseason tournament on the home floor.

On Friday, the Lady Trojans dropped a 50-22 decision to Valley Christian out of Missoula. Cassidy Hand led Troy with a pair of 3-pointers.

Stillwater Christian out of Kalispell beat Troy on Saturday, 53-20. Jackie Pepiot netted eight points for THS.
