| December 2, 2009 11:00 PM

Judith “Judi” Ann Mundale, 62, of Libby died Nov. 25, at St. John’s Lutheran Hospital due to advanced respiratory complications.

She was born on Jan. 18, 1947 in Iowa City, Iowa to George and Alta Louise (Wiseman) Francis. She spent her schooldays in Mountlake Terrace, Wash. at Mountlake Terrace High School.

In 1966 at age 20 she married her high school sweetheart Rolland L. Mundale. That same year daughter Kimberly Mundale was born. In 1975 the family moved to Darrington, Wash. Son Shane Mundale was born the following year.

She and her husband spent 21 years in Darrington before moving to Libby where they spent their golden years.

Nothing meant more to Judith then her family. She loved more than many would think possible. Judith spent most of her life attending to her loved ones, in things as simple as a phone call every evening to things as complex as raising her children and caring for her and her husband’s aging parents. All received love, care and guidance from Judith.

Survivors include her husband Rolland, daughter Kimberly, son Shane, grandsons Scott and Andrew Bunker, Levi Edwards and Kyle Svendsbye; her parents George and Shirley Francis; brother Joe Francis; sister Donna Ballard; and nieces and nephews Troy and Todd Mundale; Chris and Mike Mundale; Steven, Stephanie and Kevi Francis; Jeremy Ballard; Travis Hammond; and beloved pet Mabel.

Private family services are being held.

Schnackenberg and Nelson Funeral Home in Libby handled arrangements.
